IndEco to speak at WaterSmart Innovations 2010

When: October 6 - 8, 2010

Where: Las Vegas

Incentive based water conservation program management requires a multifaceted approach including strategic planning, research and review of best practices, and program strategy development. Ongoing program management is the key to successful returns on the municipality’s investment and conserving water.

Judy Simon, Vice-President of IndEco, will discuss our approach and success in a current water conservation and incentive management program undertaken in a large Ontario municipality (population approximately 950,000). The program offers rebates and incentives for various measures and sectors such as toilets, rain barrels and humidifiers for the residential sector, toilets and clothes washers for the multi-family and industrial, commercial and institutional sectors, pre-rinse spray valves for commercial kitchens, and custom capacity buy-back for the industrial, commercial and institutional market sector.

IndEco’s presentation will clearly outline the critical steps municipalities should follow to successfully develop and manage water conservation and incentive programs and gain public recognition as a leader in environmental change.
